Staycation; Night away in the Barossa

I have always loved being a tourist in my own state. I live in the often underrated Australian state, South Australia, and I try to explore it as much as possible. Steve and myself gifted each other  a night in the world-renowned Barossa Valley for Christmas.  We stayed in the Novotel which is a great base to explore the region. The rooms are large and all have great views of rolling hills and vineyards, the pool area is beautiful, and the restaurant was delicious- good meals sizes for the price. The general vibe at the Novotel is relaxed which is exactly what you want after a long hard day of tasting wine.
