Two months into my PhD journey, and honestly there is not too much to report. I am still unsure what I am doing, or what I achieve day to day. I have started writing my proposal for my three studies and dreaming of days in the field when I can collect surveys on shark diving boats. I have a few more months to work on the proposal which seems like way too much time for a ~5000 word plan. I suppose one thing to report on is that I have decided to document my PhD journey in a blog, dr.ofwhat. I have always loved writing and loved the idea of a blog, I just never had anything to write about. Now I feel that I do.
