Natural beauty remedies are becoming more and more popular in this day and age. After a long time in our lives of using products filled with chemicals, we are finally moving to a more natural and gentle approach to beauty as a whole.
Whether you want to move to nature to save the environment, to please sensitive skin or save money; there are many different ingredients which you can use to keep you clean and supple this year. Whether it is Soap Free Body Wash or hair oil, there are tonnes of great ingredients out there for you to use this year.
1. Coconut Oil
If there is one ingredient you should use for your beauty routine right now, it is coconut oil. Coconut oil has to be the most Versatile of ingredients you can use and it is amazing for the skin and hair. As a lotion it is ideal after a shower, it can help remove eye makeup, and it is amazing as a hair oil.
2. Tea Tree Oil
If you suffer from a little bit of acne and you want a solution which is super strong, tea tree oil is the ideal thing for you to use today. Tea tree oil is a substance which is used for acne medication and it is a powerful antibacterial agent. To use this it is a good idea for you to dilute a few drops into a carrier oil such as almond oil and this will allow you to apply it without hurting your skin too much. Applying this oil once a day can reduce spots and leave you with healthy skin.
3. Apple Cider Vinegar
If you struggle with dull skin or you have issues with shampoo residue on your scalp, this is the ideal ingredient for you to use. Apple cider vinegar when consumed once a day can help the skin to glow by providing the body with essential vitamins as well as clearing out toxins. For the head, it can be used after shampoo as a rinse on the scalp to help breakdown any residue and get rid of dead skin. It can be a huge help for the hair helping it stay shiny and happy.
4. Raw Honey
Honey is another ingredient which can be used in a number of ways and when ingested helps give the body essential enzymes which can help breakdown toxins in the body. For the skin honey can be used as both a face mask and a spot treatment. A simple face mask can be made by cutting a Lemon in half, squirting some honey over the top and rubbing this in circular motions around the face before leaving for 10 minutes. As a spit treatment it can be mixed with turmeric to form a paste and applied to spots and left for an hour before rinsing. Both of these remedies are super effective and helpful.
5. Sea Salt
Sea salt is natural and it can be used for many different things for food and the body, but the best use for beauty is a salt scrub. A homemade salt scrub can be made by mixing salt with an essential oil and some coconut oil for a thick paste. This can be amazing for the face and body and will keep the skin silky smooth.
6. Lemon
Lemon is a fruit which is always a great option to use for the skin and hair and it can be used in many different ways. We have already shown one use of lemon with a face mask, however there are many more. Drinking lemon water each morning kick starts your metabolism and it helps to flush out nasty toxins. You can also use lemon to help rinse the hair and even help bleach hair naturally in the sunshine.
7. Argan oil
If you love to look after your hair then this is a substance you have likely already heard of before. Argan oil is an oil which is used as a moisturiser on the hair and can be a great way to strengthen your locks and keep them healthy. You can make your own DIY hair oil easily by mixing argan oil, coconut oil and other oils to make a nourishing mask for the hair. When applying the oil make sure to massage the head and leave in for at least an hour if not overnight. Rinse out with shampoo and you will be left with strong shiny hair for the long haul.
