Kangaroo Island Airbnb.

Gosh it feels good to be publishing a blog post under the ‘adventure’ category. Like many people, my travel plans were squished by the thing that shall not be named. We were planning on New Zealand in April 2020 and France April 2021, but it was not to be.

Instead in December we went ‘overseas’, the one hour ferry, to Kangaroo Island. After a chaotic year, relaxing was the priority. We stayed in an airbnb that I have actually stayed in before (see this blog for more photos from the inside). The most special thing about this place is the view, it is absolute beach front on Emu Bay.

Emu Bay is not just any beach either, but a stunning white sand, turquoise calm gem.

There is so much wildlife that greets you at this place. Including resident little penguins. Now these guys are cute, but they are so loud! They scream and fight at 4am! Very entertaining.

I mean come on, would you get sick of this view?

What is even better about this place is that while the view is spectacular, the house and balcony is private (you can’t see it from the beach).
