It has been a year since we purchased a little townhouse in a suburb that we love! We have been doing a lot to the house, including a full kitchen reno (which I will share when it is painted). We also recently did a DIY reno on one of the bathrooms.
This is pre-reno (image from real estate listing). It definitely wasn’t terrible, but it was very… dull. So when we were on a trip to Ikea, Steve saw a green bathroom and suggested that we painted… I loved this idea but went further and said that we need to paint the tiles white also.
This is the end result. It took us about a month of painting after work and on the weekends. It is not perfect as we soon learnt we are no where near professional painters. However, we are thrilled with how it turned out.
It is a little oasis, filled with plants, art (we will get some more art pieces also) and practical storage!
