Day-to-Day life of a PhD student: 15th October 2018

7.39am- I had a little bit of a sleep in this morning (it was a big weekend so it was hard to get up).

8.18am- Coffee + getting ready. I am currently using some dermalogica products to try and improve my problematic skin. They have been really good so far!

9.15am- I had to quickly stop at the shops on the way to work to pick up some lunch and snacks.

9.55am- I have been at work for a little while now, catching up on emails & editing a job application for a friend of mine.

12.38pm I have spent the last few hours (and most of the previous two weeks) writing the first chapter of my thesis (which is an introduction to sharks and the anthropogenic influences impacting shark populations).

2.23pm- Still working on Chapter 1, but now doing some referencing. It was probably a terrible decision but I have always had a love-hate relationship with Endnote, so I am manually referencing.

6.42pm- I spent the afternoon (until 6) at the office working on (you guessed it) chapter 1. Now I am out for dinner with a good friend of mine- Mexican!

9.22pm I just got home from dinner and am just relaxing on the couch. One of my good friend moved into mine on the weekend, so there is now three of us in the house (my sister also lives here). It is a full but fun house!
