Only two weeks after returning from my month voyage around Europe, I repacked my suitcase (with a lot less jumpers this time), and left for the next adventure. This time my good friend (and fellow conservation psychology PhD student) and I flew to Tropical North Queensland, to explore and to get our PADI scuba diving license.
Despite the humidity, torrential rains, crocodile and marine stinger warnings, big swell on the boat, mosquito bites, and smelly hostel rooms, we had such a wonderful time, and we met so many amazing people.
I could not recommend ProDive Cairns more highly. If you are interested in getting your PADI license, why not do it at The Great Barrier Reef. Or if you already have your license, spend a couple of nights on the liveaboard, you won’t regret it! http://www.prodivecairns.com/
