I’m sure if you are regular readers or Instagram followers you would realise that lately I have definitely been fulfilling the ‘adventure’ part of dr.ofwhat’s tagline. I have been trying to get out and explore as much as I can and this time it was a short two-night trip to the Big Apple of Australia, Sydney.
YHA Bondi-
We stayed at the YHA hostel in Bondi, which was amazing. It had a roof top balcony with one of the best views of the beach- I could have relaxed up there and watched the surfers all day. https://www.yha.com.au/hostels/nsw/sydney-surrounds/bondi-beach-backpackers-hostel/
Bondi-
I am sure everyone, no matter where you are from, have heard of Bondi. It is arguably Australia’s most famous beach. I had never been, so I was excited to check it out, and I was happily surprised. I thought it was going to be really overrated, but I loved it. Cool bars, cool cafes, cool people.
RADlivin Festival-
The purpose of this mini-trip was for Radlivin, which is a festival created by ‘donttellsummer‘ which celebrates people going and achieving their dreams. It was such a fantastic day, with wonderful speakers who have achieved a variety of things (including travelling the world through Instagram, creating sustainable bathers, and living in a van). If you are interested in a fantastic day out and meeting some really ‘rad’ people, I would definitely recommend attending next year.
The Royal National Park-
Sydney is busy, really really busy, and the traffic is particular crazy. Therefore getting out into nature is a nice change, and you don’t have to travel far from the CBD to get to some spectacular coastline.
