It was time for two of my PhD pals and myself to skip town again for a couple of days. We left our unread articles, half done analyses, and frustrating ethics reports behind us, for three nights in Hobart!
We did our first “mini-vacay” over a year ago, so we knew it was time for another (go here to read about last year’s adventures).
Tasmania is such a wonderful place, filled with natural beauty, quirky streets, and friendly people (hopefully my photos below can prove that!)

The plane was a little bumpy due to weather (which for someone who doesn’t love flying wasn’t a great time).

Looks really beautiful! Is Hobart much of a tourist scene? Hope your PhD is going well 😊
